N. Georgia couple accussed of cruelty

Paul and Shelia Comer were arrested last week on charges of cruelty to their son, 18-year-old Mitch Comer. On September 11, a security officer found an 87-pound teenager at the bus stop and called authorities. Mitch Comer then told police that he had been taken to the bus shelter by his stepfather, given $200 and a list of homeless shelters. He told them that he had been continuously abused by his parent since the eith grade, which is when he was taken out of school for good. Both parents face charges of false imprisonment and cruelty to children. They are being held without bond.
